Provincial Party Secretary meets voters in Thach Kim commune, Loc Ha district

This morning, comrade Hoang Trung Dung - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Ha Tinh ; comrade Le Anh Tuan - Vice Chairman of the National Assembly's Foreign Affairs Committee and Ha Tinh National Assembly deputies had a meeting with voters of Loc Ha district, before the 8th session of the 15th National Assembly. Attending were comrade Tran Nhat Tan - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; comrade Tran Van Ky - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; comrade Le Ngoc Chau - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Loc Ha district voters are particularly interested in issues related to the district merger.

At the meeting, voters of Loc Ha district requested that all levels and functional agencies pay attention to choosing a location for the district administrative center when merging administrative units; promptly handle redundant headquarters after the merger to avoid waste; and request to unify the use of only one set of textbooks for common use throughout the country.

Medical examination and treatment using health insurance must allow people to choose suitable medical facilities; there must be a solution to deal with the sedimentation at Cua Sot Fishing Port, Thach Kim Commune; it is necessary to manage and supervise the appeal and charity donations of individuals and celebrities; strengthen the management of prices of consumer goods; and soon end the situation of stone mining at Nam Gioi Mountain in Dinh Ban Commune, Thach Ha District.

Voters frankly expressed their opinions at the meeting.

There should be policies to support fishermen in purchasing fishing gear, nets, and converting boats; strengthen management of the promotion of medicines and functional foods in the mass media...

Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Hoang Trung Dung - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee highly appreciated the enthusiastic and responsible opinions of voters. He emphasized that in the first 9 months of 2024, facing many difficulties and challenges, the Party Committee, government and people of Ha Tinh have made efforts to achieve socio-economic development goals. In particular, in the face of damage caused by floods and landslides in the Northern provinces, the people of Ha Tinh have promptly supported and contributed to helping the people of the North overcome the consequences of natural disasters.

Regarding the specific information on the issue of merging administrative units, the Provincial Party Secretary affirmed that the province will have the most suitable plan to meet the general development requirements of the province. Agreeing with the concerns and worries of voters about individuals and famous people calling for support, he hoped that the Fatherland Front at all levels would be faster and more timely in calling for support when disasters and natural disasters occur.

The Provincial Party Secretary answered and clarified a number of issues that voters were concerned about. Regarding voters' opinions under the authority of the National Assembly and the Government, the Ha Tinh National Assembly Delegation will synthesize and transfer them to competent agencies for consideration, response and thorough resolution. At the same time, he hoped that people would continue to join hands and unite to successfully implement the merger of administrative units, the project to expand Ha Tinh city, and realize the socio-economic development goals set out in the Resolution. the last months of the year
