The hot and humid weather during the two weekend days (June 28th and 29th) resulted in a constant influx of tourists to coastal tourist areas in Ha Tinh. At Thien Cam beach (Cam Xuyen district), it was packed with visitors on both Saturday and Sunday afternoons. According to the Thien Cam Tourist Area Management Board, approximately 15,000 visitors toured and used services at this destination on June 28th and 29th. Reporters observed that on Saturday afternoon, Thien Cam beach was crowded with tourists checking in. Thousands of people had fun and swam in the sea.
Thien Cam Beach is bustling with many lively activities, from playing volleyball to team-building games for alumni and class groups.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Van (first from the right) - a tourist from Hai Duong - said: "Our group has 45 people, most of whom have been to Ha Tinh at least once. This time, coming to Thien Cam, we were surprised by the positive changes in the tourist area: the infrastructure is modern and, most importantly, the environment is green, clean, and beautiful. We had a comfortable and satisfying holiday with the services. I was impressed with the friendliness of the locals and the delicious and affordable seafood here..."
To ensure the safety of beachgoers, rescue teams are always present and ready to respond promptly in case of any incidents.
At Xuan Hai beach (Loc Ha town, Thach Ha district), thousands of tourists also came to swim and enjoy seafood on Sunday afternoon (June 29). Taking advantage of the holiday, many families brought their children to the beach. Parents and their children enjoy relaxing and joyful moments together at the beach during the summer.
Not only at Thien Cam and Xuan Hai beaches, but also at Xuan Thanh Tourist Area beach (Nghi Xuan), a large number of tourists flocked in during the weekend.
Many restaurants are always busy serving tourists. Mr. Nguyen Van An, owner of Hai Chau restaurant (Loc Ha town), said: "The past two weekend days, our restaurant has been operating at full capacity. We have 40 tables, but at times, customers had to wait in line. Despite the large number of customers, we tried our best to provide the most attentive service. In addition, we always prepare a supply of fresh seafood caught in the waters off Ha Tinh to serve our guests."
According to a report from the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, from the beginning of the year until now (June 30th), tourist areas and attractions throughout the province have welcomed approximately 3,794,428 visitors (an increase of 8.1% compared to the same period in 2024). Of these, 511,654 were overnight visitors, an increase of over 14% compared to the same period in 2024; and 9,729 were international overnight visitors (an increase of 23.9% compared to the same period in 2024)...
