In preparation for the new season, Hong Linh Ha Tinh has begun recruiting players. The first two names to join the team are midfielder Ngo Van Luong (born in 2001, from Nghe An) and defender Vuong Van Huy (born in 2001, from Nghe An). Both are currently playing for Song Lam Nghe An Club.
Midfielder Ngo Van Luong plays in the central midfield position. Although he doesn't have a physical advantage (he is 1.72m tall), he possesses skillful maneuvering in tight spaces and can create game-changing moments. This season, Ngo Van Luong has played 24 matches and scored 3 goals.
Defender Vuong Van Huy has made 23 appearances and scored 1 goal this season. His strengths lie in his excellent physical fitness, aggressive pressing ability, and good speed in attacking situations. Vuong Van Huy's crosses have often created scoring opportunities for Song Lam Nghe An's attack.
The addition of Van Huy and Van Luong is seen as an important reinforcement given that Hong Linh Ha Tinh's midfield lacks creativity and their full-backs have limited crossing ability.
In addition to the two names mentioned above, Hong Linh Ha Tinh has also extended the contract of center-back Helerson until 2031. He is Hong Linh Ha Tinh's best player this season, not only for his impressive defensive performance but also for his contribution of 3 goals.
Next season, the forward and midfield positions will be the areas that the Hong Mountain team needs to focus on strengthening the most. The current attack, with its two foreign players, has only scored a meager 15 goals, while the midfield lacks creativity. The team almost never has clear central attacking plays or situations where they penetrate the penalty area with through passes. When facing teams that play a low defensive line and close off the flanks, the team often finds itself in a deadlock.
After 25 rounds of the 2025/2026 season, Hong Linh Ha Tinh is currently ranked 8th in the standings with 29 points. In round 26, the final round of the tournament, Hong Linh Ha Tinh will play away against Ninh Binh FC. The match will take place at 6 PM on June 7th.
