Border guards at Da Nang Port show support for the Cuban people.

DNO - The Border Guard at Da Nang Port (Da Nang City Border Guard Command) recently organized a campaign to encourage officers and soldiers to participate in a program supporting the Cuban people, chaired by the Vietnam Red Cross Central Committee and coordinated with central ministries, departments, and organizations.

Officers and soldiers support the Cuban people in overcoming difficulties.

Lieutenant Colonel Van Duc Truong, Secretary of the Party Committee and Political Commissar of the Border Guard at the port, highlighted the steadfast and loyal relationship between the Vietnamese and Cuban people in the struggle for national liberation and the building of Vietnam.

Sharing in the difficulties faced by the Cuban people, especially children, the elderly, and vulnerable groups, due to the pandemic and natural disasters, officers and soldiers of the Da Nang Port Border Guard donated nearly 30 million VND.

According to Lieutenant Colonel Van Duc Truong, the contributions of the unit's officers and soldiers, though small, are warm and heartfelt. This is also an action demonstrating solidarity, aiming to strengthen the Cuban people, a loyal and devoted friend of the Vietnamese people, in overcoming difficulties in the current period.
