The inspection aims to assess the actual results of training, the level of weapon use, and the ability to practice the techniques and movements of shooting the K54 pistol (lessons 2, 2b) at concealed and unexpectedly appearing targets during the day for officers; and shooting the AK submachine gun (lesson 1) at concealed and appearing targets during the day for professional soldiers, defense workers and officials, and enlisted personnel.

Colonel Tran Le Cuong, Head of the Staff Department of the 16th Army Corps, presented flowers to congratulate the officers who excelled in the live-fire shooting test.

This is the first year that the 16th Army Corps has included K54 pistol shooting exercises 2 and 2b in its officer corps' examination. The examination content closely reflects real combat situations, focusing on improving situational awareness and weapon handling skills in complex combat conditions. This requires officers to have a firm grasp of theory, master the basic movements, flexibly apply various movement postures, and effectively handle practical situations to meet the demands of modern combat.

To improve the quality of training and testing in K54 rifle and AK submachine gun shooting, the 16th Army Corps has recently organized rigorous training according to prescribed programs and content; constantly innovating training methods, closely following combat realities, contributing to improving the technical and tactical skills, weapon usage ability, and courage of the troops, meeting the requirements of training and combat readiness in the new situation.

With the motto "Correct technique - firm mindset - accurate target - absolute safety," officers and soldiers participating in live firing exercises demonstrated unwavering composure, stable psychology, correct execution of movements, and strict adherence to regulations and safety rules for weapon use. Command and control of the firing range were organized meticulously and scientifically , closely following the actual conditions of each firing exercise, contributing to improved inspection quality and ensuring absolute safety.

At the end of the inspection, 100% of the personnel met the requirements, the unit achieved a good rating, and absolute safety was ensured for personnel and weapons and technical equipment.
