Attending and observing at the shooting range were Colonel Tran Le Cuong, Head of the Staff Department; and Lieutenant Colonel Dang Thanh Nhan, Deputy Head of the Staff Department, 16th Army Corps.
The inspection was conducted seriously and rigorously, with many practical aspects relevant to the mission. For officers, the inspection included shooting with the K54 pistol (lessons 2 and 2b), and rapid, accurate shooting at unexpectedly appearing and disappearing targets during the day. For non-commissioned officers, defense workers and officials, and militia forces, the inspection included shooting at concealed and appearing targets during the day (lesson 1) with the AK submachine gun. Militia forces also underwent grenade throwing and explosive handling tests.

This was the first time the 719th Regiment included K54 pistol shooting (lessons 2, 2b) in its officer corps' examination. The examination was highly demanding, closely reflecting real combat situations, and focused on improving situational awareness and weapon handling skills in complex conditions. Thanks to thorough preparation, from practical training and weapon handling skill reinforcement to ensuring the readiness of the shooting range and firing positions, the examination proceeded according to plan, ensuring absolute safety for personnel and equipment.

The inspection results showed that 100% of the officers, staff, and militia members participating met the requirements, with over 70% achieving good or excellent results. The unit achieved good results; in particular, the practical training in handling explosives by the militia achieved excellent results.

Through live-fire exercises, Regiment 719 continued to demonstrate its proactive and flexible approach in commanding and managing training, while also effectively promoting coordination among agencies and units. During the practical exercises, officers, personnel, and militia forces displayed excellent posture, demeanor, flexible situational handling skills, and a high sense of responsibility. This inspection not only assessed the proficiency in using weapons and equipment but also contributed to cultivating strong character and mental fortitude, meeting the requirements of national defense in the new situation.
