BINH THUAN ORGANIZES LOW-ALTITUDE FIREWORKS ON THE OCCASION OF SEPTEMBER 2 AND MANY ENTERTAINMENT ACTIVITIES TO ATTRACTIVE TOURISTS

Binh Thuan Provincial People's Committee has just signed Document No. 2946/UBND-KGVXNV on organizing low-altitude fireworks displays.

Accordingly, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee agreed that the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinate with the Provincial Military Command, Provincial Police, and Phan Thiet City People's Committee to organize low-altitude fireworks displays to celebrate the 79th anniversary of National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2024).

The People's Committee of Binh Thuan province assigned the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to sign a contract to purchase fireworks according to regulations and hand over the purchased fireworks to the Provincial Military Command.

In addition, the Provincial Military Command directed the Phan Thiet City Military Command to organize the reception and preservation of fireworks; develop specific plans, and organize low-altitude fireworks displays to ensure safety.

The provincial police coordinated with the People's Committee of Phan Thiet City to direct the City Police and related forces to have a plan to support ensuring security, order, and traffic safety before, during, and after organizing low-altitude fireworks displays.

On the occasion of September 2nd, NovaWorld Phan Thiet will have a "Goodbye Summer" water festival from 7am to 6pm on August 31st at Bikini Beach Square. Visitors will be able to enjoy water fights, colored powder throwing, street performances and parades, etc. on the blue, sunny beach in Phan Thiet. To meet the entertainment needs during the long holidays, this entertainment venue will bring a music party "Stairway to Heaven" combined with a spectacular fireworks display from 6pm to 9pm at Bikini Beach Square.

According to the Binh Thuan Provincial Statistics Office, in the first 7 months of 2024, the number of tourists is estimated at 5,473.4 thousand arrivals, an increase of 5.63% over the same period last year; the number of customer days served is estimated at 10,225.3 thousand customer days, an increase of 6.52% over the same period last year.

The number of international visitors in the first 7 months of 2024 is estimated at 235.9 thousand visitors, an increase of 62.88% over the same period last year, the number of visitor days served is estimated at 938.1 thousand visitor days, an increase of 60.35% over the same period last year. International visitors to the province account for a large proportion such as: Korea, China, Russia, Germany, UK, USA...

Revenue from accommodation services in the first 7 months of 2024 is estimated at VND 3,391.8 billion, up 3.88% over the same period last year; food and beverage services are estimated at VND 10,634.8 billion, up 7.46% over the same period last year; travel support activities are estimated at VND 142.5 billion, up 37.92% over the same period last year.

Revenue from tourism activities in July is estimated at VND 2,159.4 billion, up 3.14% over the previous month and 3.63% over the same period last year. Accumulated revenue for the first 7 months of 2024 is estimated at VND 14,020.9 billion, up 4.42% over the same period last year.
