BMI achieved revenue of more than 3,600 billion VND in the first 6 months of the year

Through the first 6 months of 2024, Bao Minh continued to affirm its position as a leading non-life insurance enterprise, with revenue by the end of June 2024 of VND 3,666 billion, an increase of 16.08% over the same period and reaching 53.92%, exceeding the planned progress approved by the General Meeting of Shareholders.

According to data from the Insurance Association, after the first 5 months of 2024, Bao Minh also secured the third position in terms of revenue market share, with a market share of 8.4% (an increase of more than 0.6% compared to the market share in 2023).

Regarding profit, Bao Minh estimates that it will achieve VND 188.5 billion in pre-tax profit in the first 6 months of 2024, equal to 102% compared to the same period in 2023 and exceeding the 2024 profit plan by 50% approved by the General Meeting of Shareholders.

Speaking at the Conference, Mr. Vu Anh Tuan - Party Secretary, member of the Board of Directors, General Director of Bao Minh affirmed that the results that Bao Minh achieved in the first 6 months of 2024 were first of all thanks to the correct development strategies and guidelines set out by the General Meeting of Shareholders and the Board of Directors of Bao Minh.

Besides, Bao Minh acknowledges the tireless efforts of the entire leadership team and staff who have contributed to the overall success of the Corporation.

According to Mr. Vu Anh Tuan, the last 6 months of 2024 will be a difficult and challenging period for the insurance business market. However, Bao Minh will still ensure to continue promoting the spirit of initiative, creativity, overcoming difficulties, taking advantage of opportunities, working together, with high determination to successfully complete the business plan approved by the General Meeting of Shareholders.

Also at the Conference, Mr. Dinh Viet Tung - Deputy General Director of SCIC - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bao Minh sent words of encouragement to Bao Minh's staff.

According to Mr. Dinh Viet Tung, Bao Minh's business and development plan is going well; however, the Board of Directors and all Bao Minh staff must constantly strive to maintain its current position and aim for higher goals in the future.
