The Politburo assigned and appointed an additional Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front and Central mass organizations.

Within the framework of the Conference to announce the Politburo's Decision on personnel work organized by the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front and Central Mass Organizations on the afternoon of September 5 in Hanoi, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Phi Long was appointed to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front and Central Mass Organizations.

Attending the Conference were comrade Do Van Chien, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front, Central organizations, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; comrades of the Party Central Committee: Do Trong Hung, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee; Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front, Central organizations, Vice Chairman, General Secretary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.

At the conference, delegates heard the announcement of the Politburo's Decision to transfer comrade Nguyen Phi Long, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee, to cease participating in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and to cease holding the position of Standing Deputy Secretary of the Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term and to be assigned and appointed to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front and Central mass organizations for the 2020-2025 term.

Comrade Do Van Chien presented the Politburo's Decision on assigning and transferring comrade Nguyen Phi Long.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Do Van Chien stated: Comrade Nguyen Phi Long received basic training and matured from the work of the Youth Union, was trained, nurtured and went through the working process as Secretary of the Central Youth Union, Chairman of the Vietnam Youth Union, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Hoa Binh Provincial Party Committee, and Standing Deputy Secretary of the Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee.

The transfer and assignment of comrade Nguyen Phi Long comes from work requirements associated with strengthening the comprehensive leadership of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front and Central organizations towards the Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations, and mass organizations assigned tasks by the Party and State.

Comrade Do Van Chien also expressed his belief that in his new role, Comrade Nguyen Phi Long will promote his capacity and strengths, together with the Standing Committee, Executive Committee, Party Committee, and the Party Committee's advisory body to excellently complete the task.

In his acceptance speech, comrade Nguyen Phi Long said that this is a great responsibility in the face of the increasing demand for promoting the strength of national solidarity for the cause of national construction, development and defense in the era of national growth.

Comrade Nguyen Phi Long gave a speech accepting the assignment.

Comrade Nguyen Phi Long affirmed that he will work hard, actively study and research, constantly cultivate and train political qualities, ethics, lifestyle, be a pioneer, be exemplary, be dedicated to work, together with the collective leadership, cadres, civil servants, and public employees of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front, and Central organizations to promote the tradition of solidarity, and strive to successfully complete all assigned tasks.
