President of the National Assembly and President of the Council of State of Cuba paid an official visit to Vietnam

On the morning of September 30, President of the National Assembly of People's Power, President of the Council of State of the Republic of Cuba Esteban Lazo Hernández and a high-ranking delegation arrived in Hanoi.

Welcoming the delegation at the airport were Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly; Ms. Thai Quynh Mai Dung, full-time member of the National Assembly's Committee on National Defense, Security and Foreign Affairs; leaders of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; and leaders of the Ministry of Construction .

Accompanying the President of the National Assembly and President of the Council of State of Cuba, Esteban Lazo Hernández, were Mr. Rogelio Polanco Fuentes, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Cuba to Vietnam; Homero Acosta Álvarez, Secretary General of the National Assembly of People's Power, Secretary General of the Council of State; Martha Hernández Romero.

The official visit to Vietnam by the President of the National Assembly and President of the Council of State of Cuba continues to deepen bilateral relations and create new momentum for cooperation projects between Vietnam and Cuba./.
