Fair connecting trade and promoting products of Vietnamese-Lao enterprises 2025

The Vietnam-Laos Trade Connection and Product Promotion Fair 2025 took place from November 20-23 in Vientiane, with nearly 120 booths of businesses from the two countries, along with many investment, cultural and social promotion activities.

The 2025 Vietnam-Laos Trade Fair and Product Promotion Fair will take place from November 20-23 at the Lao Itecc Convention Center, Vientiane (Laos).

The event was organized by the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense in coordination with the Vietnamese Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Lao Ministry of National Defense and relevant ministries and branches.

The fair has nearly 120 standard booths, of which Laos participates in 20 booths.

The fair space is designed with a unified theme, bearing the colors of the Vietnam-Laos flag, associated with the symbols of That Luong (Laos), Khue Van Cac (Vietnam) and the national flowers of lotus and Champa, expressing the special solidarity between the two countries.

Within the framework of the fair, there will also be an investment promotion conference between businesses of the two countries to be held on November 21, chaired by the Finance Department (Vietnam Ministry of National Defense).

It is expected that during the fair, there will be 5 to 10 direct and online working sessions between Vietnam and Laos.

In addition to economic activities, the Organizing Committee coordinated with units to carry out many other activities such as donating computers and printers to agencies under the Lao Ministry of National Defense; giving gifts to policy families at the Opening Ceremony and giving gifts to Lao people who came to visit.

On this occasion, the Propaganda Department (General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army) will organize "Vietnam Cultural Space", displaying images and artifacts about friendship during the war of national liberation as well as the process of building and developing the country.

Within the framework of the Fair, the Art Program by the Art Troupe of Military Region 1 (Vietnam Ministry of National Defense) in coordination with the Art Troupe of the Lao Army will perform at the Opening Ceremony and the Fair days, with performances imbued with the cultural identities of the two countries.

During the Fair, LED screens at the exhibition area will also show videos introducing production activities, defense industry development and economics of Vietnamese military enterprises./.
