Specifically, the Ministry of Education and Training will hold the opening ceremony at the National Convention Center from 8:00 to 9:30 AM on September 5th.

All preschools, primary and secondary schools, vocational schools, and higher education institutions will hold their opening ceremonies concurrently with the Ministry of Education and Training's anniversary celebrations.

"The ceremony will connect online to all educational institutions from preschool to university (public and private) nationwide via television broadcasts and transmission infrastructure provided by telecommunications companies," the plan states.

In particular, according to the plan issued by the Ministry of Education and Training, it is expected that teachers and students nationwide will have the opportunity to hear the opening speech and ring the bell to inaugurate the new school year 2025-2026 from General Secretary To Lam.

On August 11th, the Ministry of Education and Training issued the academic year schedule for 2025-2026 for preschool education, general education, and continuing education, applicable nationwide, and the projected schedule for the 2026 high school graduation exam.

Accordingly, the Ministry of Education and Training requires students to return to school at least one week before the official opening ceremony. For grades 1, 9, and 12, the requirement is two weeks before the official opening ceremony.
