Ministry of Education and Training has new deputy minister

Mr. Le Tan Dung, new Deputy Ministerof Education and Training

The decision takes effect from March 1. Mr. Le Tan Dung was born in 1966, from Long An province.

Before holding the position of Deputy Minister of Education and Training, Mr. Dung held the following positions: Deputy Chief of Office of Long An Provincial Party Committee; Director of Long An Provincial Department of Home Affairs; Secretary of Thu Thua District Party Committee, Long An Province; Vice Chairman of Long An Provincial People's Committee; Deputy Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs.

Previously, as Deputy Minister of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, Mr. Dung assisted the Minister in directing the following areas: vocational education; universities under the ministry; office work; Party and mass organizations; Project Management Board under the ministry and monitoring associations and non -governmental organizations operating in the fields under the ministry's responsibility.

Thus, currently, in addition to Minister Nguyen Kim Son, the Ministry of Education and Training has 5 deputy ministers including: Mr. Pham Ngoc Thuong, Mr. Hoang Minh Son, Mr. Nguyen Van Phuc, Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Chi and Mr. Le Tan Dung.
