At the Conference, comrade Nguyen Thanh Binh, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee, announced the Politburo's Decision on transferring and appointing comrade Trinh Xuan Truong to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, hold the position of Secretary of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030 and appoint him to join the Party Committee of Military Region 1.

In his speech assigning tasks, Comrade Le Minh Hung, Head of the Central Organizing Committee, assessed that Comrade Trinh Xuan Truong is a cadre who has grown up from the grassroots, has worked in many positions in many different units of Lao Cai province, and is the Secretary of the Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term; is a cadre with capacity, scientific and democratic working methods, and is close to the grassroots. In all positions, Comrade Trinh Xuan Truong always strives to complete assigned tasks well and has made important contributions to the overall achievements of the locality and unit.
He hoped that in his new position, the new Secretary of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee would continue to make efforts and successfully complete the important tasks entrusted to him by the Party and the Politburo. At the same time, he requested the Standing Committee, the Executive Committee of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee, and leaders at all levels and sectors in the whole province to continue promoting the spirit of solidarity, unity, support and assistance so that Comrade Trinh Xuan Truong, in his position as Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, would focus on leading and directing the successful completion of the Party Committee's political tasks.

The Head of the Central Organizing Committee also requested that in the coming time, Comrade Trinh Xuan Truong pay attention to closely following the direction of the Politburo, focusing on the highest efforts and determination together with the Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Executive Committee to lead and direct the implementation of a number of key tasks, namely: Receiving, promulgating and implementing the Action Program to implement the Resolution of the 1st Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030; urgently promulgating working regulations, assigning tasks, and arranging cadres after the Congress to ensure democracy, objectivity, and proper procedures; thoroughly implementing the directions of the Central Committee, the Politburo, and the Secretariat in the new development period; coordinating to prepare well for the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and the election of People's Council deputies at all levels for the term 2026 - 2031; Seize opportunities and overcome challenges to successfully implement the two-level local government model, for the whole country, and together with the whole country, develop prosperously and well-being...

In his acceptance speech, the new Secretary of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee, Trinh Xuan Truong, thanked the Politburo, the Central Party Secretariat, and the Central Organization Committee for their trust in him to take on the important responsibility of the Secretary of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee. He deeply understood that the assigned task was both an honor and a great responsibility before the Politburo, the Secretariat, the Party Committee, the government, and the people of the province. At the same time, it was also a responsibility in the face of increasingly higher demands for Party building, socio-economic development, national defense, security, and foreign affairs. In particular, Thai Nguyen province is a land rich in revolutionary traditions, holding a particularly important strategic position, a growth pole, and a development center of the Northern Midlands and Mountains region.

He affirmed that he will continue to inherit and promote the achievements of Thai Nguyen province after the merger; make every effort and always set high goals to create positive pressure for himself; uphold the spirit of self-awareness, pioneering, and exemplary, together with the Standing Committee, the Party Executive Committee and the entire political system to maintain and promote the tradition of solidarity and unity, seize opportunities, promote collective intelligence, courage, creativity, strive to overcome all difficulties and challenges, successfully organize and implement the Resolution of the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030, determined to realize the goal of "building Thai Nguyen province into a modern industrial center with high average income before 2030".
