Military Region 4 Command offers incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh at Kim Lien relic site

On the occasion of the 79th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2024), on the morning of August 29, the Command of Military Region 4 held a flower and incense offering ceremony in memory of President Ho Chi Minh at the Kim Lien National Special Relic Site, Nam Dan District, Nghe An.

Lieutenant General Tran Vo Dung, Party Committee Secretary and Political Commissar of the Military Region, presided over the flower and incense offering ceremony. Attending the ceremony were comrades in the Party Committee Standing Committee, the Military Region Command, and agencies, departments, and offices of the Military Region.

The Military Region Command respectfully reported to Uncle Ho the achievements of the officers and soldiers of the Military Region's armed forces in the past time. Notably, in the first 8 months of 2024, officers and soldiers of the Military Region's armed forces, together with local Party committees and authorities in 6 provinces of the Military Region, built and consolidated the all-people national defense posture associated with the people's security posture, building a solid defense area; Actively promoted the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style associated with the implementation of the Campaign "Promoting tradition, dedicating talent, worthy of Uncle Ho's soldiers", effectively implementing military and defense tasks, mass mobilization work, joining hands to build new rural areas, promoting "Repaying gratitude" activities, military rear policy work and defense foreign affairs tasks; Successfully organized many important and meaningful activities such as the Emulation Congress of the Military Region's Armed Forces for the period 2019 - 2024... Military Region 4 was assessed by the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense to have excellently completed its tasks in the first 6 months of 2024.
