On the morning of February 10th, a delegation from the Party Committee and Command of Military Region 7, led by Lieutenant General Tran Vinh Ngoc, Secretary of the Party Committee and Political Commissar of Military Region 7, visited and extended New Year greetings to the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Council, Provincial People's Committee, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province.

Lieutenant General Tran Vinh Ngoc reported that in 2025, Military Region 7 successfully completed its assigned tasks. Highlights included leadership and guidance in improving training quality, combat readiness, building a regular army, and managing discipline. Military Region 7 excellently completed tasks A50 and A80, ensuring the smooth running of Party and State activities and political events in the region.

Lieutenant General Tran Vinh Ngoc expressed his gratitude to the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province, and other provincial agencies for their attention, effective coordination, and provision of the best conditions for the armed forces of Military Region 7, and directly the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Military Command, to operate effectively and successfully carry out local military and national defense tasks in the new situation.

Recently, the 7th Military Region Command has implemented many meaningful programs and activities in Lam Dong province. In particular, the 7th Military Region Command selected Lam Dong as the location for the 2026 Spring Soldiers Program. Within the framework of the program, many meaningful and practical activities were organized, contributing to the education of traditions, expressing gratitude to policy beneficiary families, and supporting the people in celebrating the traditional Tet holiday fully and joyfully; thereby further strengthening the close relationship between the military and the people, consolidating national unity, and maintaining political security and social order in the region.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi highly appreciated the contributions of the 7th Military Region Command and the Provincial Military Command in social welfare activities, especially their participation in rescuing and assisting people when natural disasters occur, as well as helping people overcome the consequences of floods and stabilize their lives.

Comrade Ho Van Muoi also provided a brief update on some of the socio-economic achievements the province has attained in 2025. Following the merger, all officials and people of Lam Dong province have united and strived to implement and achieve encouraging results in socio-economic targets.

In January 2026, the Provincial Party Committee approved 5 major projects with a total capital of nearly 130,000 billion VND. In January 2026, Lam Dong's socio-economic development showed considerable growth. State budget revenue reached approximately 5,800 billion VND, achieving 16% of the projected target. The situation regarding investment attraction and business operations showed many positive changes.

To achieve double-digit economic growth targets, Lam Dong will implement various measures, focusing on administrative reform, effectively mobilizing resources, developing a green economy and digital economy, accelerating the disbursement of public investment capital, and removing obstacles for businesses... Comrade Ho Van Muoi requested the Command of Military Region 7, the Provincial Military Command, and the Provincial Police to continue to uphold their roles and responsibilities, maintain national defense and security, and contribute to the rapid and sustainable development of Lam Dong in the new phase.

On the occasion of the New Year 2026, Comrade Ho Van Muoi wished the comrades in the working group, officers, and soldiers of the 7th Military Region Command a peaceful and happy new year and many achievements in the implementation of assigned tasks.
