Training and updating knowledge and skills for commune-level leaders

(sonla.gov.vn) During 3 days, from September 6-8, in Hanoi, the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics organized a training course to update knowledge and skills for leaders and managers of communes, wards and special zones. The training course was held directly at the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and online to all connection points in communes, wards and special zones nationwide.

During the 3 days, the trainees were compiled by reporters with deep professional knowledge and rich practical experience and directly presented the topics including: New issues on Party building, Front work and people's organizations in communes, wards and special zones; new issues on building commune, ward and special zone governments; transition to a service government model, digital government. New issues in State management: On economy (finance, investment, land, resources, environment at commune level...); on culture, society, education, health; national defense, security and foreign affairs in communes, wards and special zones associated with the 2-level local government model. Digital transformation and building digital government in communes, wards and special zones; and topics on leadership skills, handling situations arising at the commune level during the operation of the 2-level local government model.

The program is designed with open-structured topics, focusing on practical situations, discussing and drawing lessons, helping learners promptly update new knowledge about commune-level models; at the same time, renewing awareness of basic issues of Party building, government, front, and State management in key areas at commune level in accordance with many new regulations and new ways of doing things in the new era.
