The 2025 National Table Tennis Championship will take place from May 17 to 27 at Tien Son Sports Palace, Da Nang City, with 7 events: men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles, mixed doubles, men's team and women's team. This is not only a fierce competition aiming for high rankings but also an opportunity for top players to prepare well for the 33rd SEA Games.

In addition to the familiar faces who have made their name in domestic and international tournaments, this year’s national tournament is expected to feature many young players ready to make a name for themselves. Even traditionally strong teams such as Ho Chi Minh City, Hai Duong, People’s Public Security, Army, Hanoi , T&T… are also expected to not have an easy time defending their rankings like in previous seasons.

The good news is that the country's top tennis players have maintained stable performance over the past time. Nguyen Anh Tu, Dinh Anh Hoang, Le Dinh Duc, Nguyen Khoa Dieu Khanh, Tran Mai Ngoc... are still considered candidates for the highest positions in the events - a condition to ensure they continue to compete at the 33rd SEA Games later this year.

The Vietnam Table Tennis Federation's professional board and the Table Tennis Department - National Sports and Physical Training Department will base on the achievements of the players at this year's National Table Tennis Championship to organize the selection of members for the national teams and youth teams to prepare for participating in international tournaments this year, focusing on the 33rd SEA Games.
