This is a cultural and artistic activity rich in political and social significance, aiming to welcome Party Congresses at all levels, contributing to strengthening people's trust in the Party's leadership, affirming the value of the path that President Ho Chi Minh chose.
With the theme “Cultural Gateway – Heritage Connection – Creative Innovation”, the exhibition opens up a space to contemplate the historical and artistic values of Indochina-era architectural works in Cua Nam ward ( Hanoi ).
Many precious documentary images recreate the imprint of Indochina University, the Palace of Competition, the Gate of Bao An Binh, and fine art works such as the reliefs of Agriculture and Fisheries restored from the original model of the Indochina College of Fine Arts. The art space is creatively arranged, highlighted by interactive photo clusters such as "Indochina Feelings", "Old Songs of Old Streets", "Indochina Pulse" providing a bird's eye view, combining heritage elements and modern technology.

Within the framework of the exhibition, two thematic seminars were also held. Artist and researcher Tran Hau Yen The shared about the history of the Hanoi citadel emblem on the forehead of Truong Trung Vuong school and the role of the Exhibition Palace in the development of culture and trade. Another seminar introduced the project “Indochinese Sensation” at the building at 19 Le Thanh Tong.
Speaking at the event, Secretary of the Party Committee of Cua Nam Ward Pham Tuan Long emphasized: The preservation and promotion of cultural heritage in each locality needs to be carried out on the basis of precious values left by previous generations.
“Preserving cultural heritage is a major task, consistent in many Central resolutions, and Hanoi will certainly be one of the pioneering localities. We believe that if we go in the right direction, heritage will not only be preserved but also truly come to life, creating new values and becoming a driving force for sustainable development of the capital’s cultural industry.”

The new approach of Cua Nam ward in heritage conservation has closely followed the development orientation of the Capital, clearly stated in Resolution No. 15-NQ/TW dated May 5, 2022 of the Politburo on the direction and tasks of developing the Capital Hanoi to 2030, with a vision to 2045.
This spirit is also continued and expanded in new resolutions of the Central Committee, aiming to create a comprehensive foundation for national development in the context of the digital age and deep integration. These are: Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW (dated December 22, 2024) on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation;
Resolution No. 59-NQ/TW (dated January 24, 2025) on international integration in the new situation; Resolution No. 66-NQ/TW (dated April 30, 2025) on innovation in law-making and enforcement to meet the requirements of national development in the new era and Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW (dated May 4, 2025) on private economic development.

These major orientations are being gradually realized through specific models at the grassroots level. The exhibition “South Gate Harmony - Cultural Gateway, Connecting Heritage, Innovation” is a highlight activity in the preparation process for the Party Congress at all levels in the ward, and at the same time a practical way to turn historical and cultural values into development resources.
From its rich heritage, Cua Nam ward is orienting to form a creative cultural space, develop heritage tours, art exhibition spaces, handicraft products, aiming to build a local brand associated with the cultural industry.

The event is held at Trung Vuong Secondary School (26 Hang Bai, Hanoi), open from now until August 5 to serve a large number of people and tourists to visit and experience.
