The information was confirmed by Slavia Sofia Club on the evening of July 27 (Vietnam time). Accordingly, the Bulgarian team reached a transfer agreement with the V.League rookie.
In a statement, Slavia Sofia said the deal was finalized after thorough negotiations, based on a consensus on strategic vision. The Bulgarian team highly appreciated the goodwill and professionalism of the Vietnamese representative.
It is known that Chung Do's contract with the ancient capital team is for 5 years. This is also considered a "blockbuster" contract of Ninh Binh FC in the pre-season transfer period, not only because of the level of investment but also because of the professional value and development potential of the midfielder born in 2004.
Chung Do still has one year left on his contract with Slavia Sofia, so Ninh Binh FC must pay a transfer fee to own this midfielder. The fee is not disclosed, but in the market, this player is valued at around 12 billion VND .
Chung Do played 32 matches in the Bulgarian National Championship last season. He was promoted to the first team from the 2022/2023 season and quickly demonstrated his outstanding professional qualities in the central midfielder position. With a good technical foundation, modern tactical thinking and the ability to play at high intensity, Chung Do is considered one of the most promising young talents today.

Born in Bulgaria to a pure Vietnamese family, Chung Do has Vietnamese nationality and is eligible to play for the national team. He was once on the radar of the Bulgarian Football Federation, showing that this player's professional value is not limited to Southeast Asia.
Returning to the V.League opens up opportunities for the 21-year-old star to compete for a spot in the U23 Vietnam squad for the 33rd SEA Games. However, the central midfielder position is currently a fierce competition with prominent names such as Van Truong, Xuan Bac, Thai Son and Cong Phuong. However, with his experience playing in Europe, Chung Do promises to be a worthy addition in the near future.
Slavia Sofia representative affirmed: “We thank Chung Nguyen Do for his professionalism and contributions over the past time. We wish him success in his new journey with Ninh Binh FC. This is a beneficial deal for all three parties and for the player’s career.”
In another development, Ryan Ha is said to be on trial at HAGL. He appeared in the mountain town team's match against Da Nang in the pre-season friendly tournament in Quang Nam .
Previously, this overseas Vietnamese midfielder played for Khanh Hoa, Binh Duong , Hanoi FC and PVF-CAND but did not make much of an impression. At Hanoi FC, he only played 4 matches with a total time of 32 minutes. After leaving PVF-CAND, Ryan Ha is looking for a new opportunity in the mountain town. If signed, this will be his 5th destination in Vietnam in more than 2 years.
