On July 28th, over 300 union members and employees at Quang Ninh Thermal Power Plant gathered together for a warm and friendly meal, fostering camaraderie. All members of the Board of Directors, the Company's leadership, and the Company's Trade Union Executive Committee attended to celebrate with the union members and employees. This was not just a simple meal, but also a space for bonding, sharing, and demonstrating the deep care and concern of the Company's leadership and Trade Union for all staff and workers.
In his opening remarks, Comrade Pham Xuan Toan, Chairman of the Company's Trade Union, shared: "Today's Trade Union meal is an opportunity for employees, the Trade Union organization, and the Company's leadership to share and listen to the thoughts and aspirations of union members and employees. From there, we will work together to build more practical and long-term welfare programs for all union members and employees of the Company."
Comrade Nguyen Tuan Anh, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company, also emphasized: “Through the ‘ Trade Union Meal ,’ we have the opportunity to connect with each other, build more trust and loyalty between employees and the Company’s leadership. Organizing quality, nutritious meals is also a practical way to care for the health of employees – a key factor in maintaining work efficiency and improving quality of life.”
The atmosphere of the meal was made even more meaningful by the heartfelt sharing from the union members. Mr. Le Trung Thanh, a worker in the Mechanical and Thermal Repair Workshop, expressed his feelings: “As a direct production worker, I am truly touched and grateful for the deep concern of the Company's leadership, especially through activities like this 'Union Meal'. We feel greatly encouraged and motivated to see that the Company always cares about the lives and health of its employees. This helps us feel more secure in our work and dedicate ourselves fully to the Company.”
"The 'Trade Union Meal' is not just a meal, but also a message of solidarity, care, and sharing, contributing to encouraging the spirit of labor and production competition among employees. This is clear evidence of the role and significance of the Trade Union of Quang Ninh Thermal Power Joint Stock Company in caring for the lives and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of workers."
Over the years, in addition to ensuring stable employment and income, Quang Ninh Thermal Power Joint Stock Company has actively implemented many practical activities to improve the lives of its employees. These include comprehensive periodic health check-ups, building and maintaining a safe, clean, and pleasant working environment, organizing diverse cultural and sports activities, and providing timely support policies for employees facing difficulties.
