On July 28, more than 300 union members and workers at Quang Ninh Thermal Power Plant gathered together to celebrate a warm and friendly meal. All comrades in the Board of Directors, the Company's Board of Management and the Company's Trade Union Executive Committee attended to celebrate with union members and workers. This was not just a simple meal but also a space to connect, share, and show deep concern from the Company's Board of Management and Trade Union to all officers and workers.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Pham Xuan Toan, Chairman of the Company's Trade Union, shared: "Today's Trade Union meal is an opportunity for employees, the Trade Union organization and the Company's leaders to share and listen to the thoughts and aspirations of union members and workers. From there, we will work together to build more practical, long-term welfare programs for all union members and workers of the Company."
Comrade Nguyen Tuan Anh, Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company also emphasized: “Through the “ Union Meal ” is an opportunity for us to unite together, build more trust and attachment of employees to the Company's Board of Directors. Organizing quality, nutritious meals is also a practical concern for the health of employees - a key factor to maintain work efficiency and improve the quality of life.”
The atmosphere of the meal was made more meaningful with the sincere sharing from the union members. Mr. Le Trung Thanh, a worker at the Thermal Mechanical Repair Workshop, expressed his feelings: “As a direct production worker, I am truly touched and grateful for the deep concern of the Company's Board of Directors, especially through activities like this "Union Meal". We feel very encouraged and motivated when we see that the Company always cares about the lives and health of our colleagues. This helps us feel more secure in our work and devote ourselves to the Company.”
“Union Meal” is not only a meal but also a message of solidarity, care, sharing, contributing to encouraging the spirit of emulation in labor and production of employees. This is a clear demonstration of the role and significance of the Trade Union of Quang Ninh Thermal Power Joint Stock Company in caring for the lives and protecting the legitimate and legal rights of employees.
Over the years, in addition to ensuring stable jobs and income, Quang Ninh Thermal Power Joint Stock Company has always actively implemented many practical activities to improve the lives of its employees. These include comprehensive periodic health check-up programs, building and maintaining a safe and clean working space, organizing diverse cultural and sports activities, or timely support policies for workers in difficult circumstances.
