At the awards ceremony taking place in Las Vegas this morning (May 26th, local time), the popular K-pop group won the Song of the Summer award (for their song Swim ). This is the title track from their fifth studio album, "ARIRANG".
Following their first win, BTS was named once again in one of the highest award categories at the 2026 AMAs – Artist of the Year. The seven-member South Korean group beat global stars like Bad Bunny, Bruno Mars, and Taylor Swift to win the award upon their return to the AMAs stage for the first time in five years.
This win marks BTS's second Artist of the Year title following their historic first win in 2021, when the group became the first Asian group to win the top award.
Nominations for the 2026 AMAs were selected based on streaming, album and digital sales, radio airplay, and tour revenue, while the winners were decided entirely by fan vote.
