The number of players registering for the Kingtek 2025 international pickleball tournament has exploded.

The Kingtek International Pickleball Tournament 2025 closed registration early for the novice men's doubles and intermediate men's doubles events due to a full number of registered athletes.

On August 7, businesswoman Madam Truyen (Phan Thi Thanh Truyen), Head of the Organizing Committee of the Kingtek 2025 International Pickleball Tournament (taking place on August 16 and 17 in Malaysia) said: "In the first time organizing a tournament abroad to connect and spread the pickleball movement, we are very happy that many athletes from Malaysia, Vietnam and other countries and territories have registered to compete. The registration for the competition will be closed on August 10, but according to a report from the professional committee, the novice men's doubles and intermediate men's doubles have enough registered athletes, so the registration will be closed early. There are a total of 64 pairs in the novice men's doubles and 40 pairs in the intermediate men's doubles."

The Kingtek International Pickleball Tournament 2025 takes place at the Grand Pickleball Arena (GPA, Malaysia). The tournament is divided into 3 skill levels including novice, intermediate and open with a total of 8 events.
