CP Vietnam and Red Journey: Journey of Connecting Love

The Red Journey 2024 has concluded, but its impact lingers with incredibly impressive figures: 58 days of events in 51 provinces/cities, receiving over 128,000 units of blood at 431 blood donation points. As one of the main sponsors of the program, CP Vietnam is extremely honored and proud of the efforts and successes achieved by the Red Journey over the past period.

Ms. Le Nhat Thuy delivered a speech at the closing conference of the 12th Red Journey Program – 2024.

For 12 years, the Red Journey has been organized, and for 11 years, CP Vietnam has been a partner in the program, fulfilling its mission of "Connecting Vietnamese Bloodlines," bringing health and lives to hundreds of thousands of people. From its first event in 2013 with only 15 provinces/cities participating, to date, through 12 editions (2013-2024), the Red Journey has attracted millions of participants, organized 580 blood donation days with 3,048 donation points, and received over 938,000 units of blood. The Red Journey has come a long way, with many changes in both "Quality" and "Quantity." This year, the amount of blood received on the support days doubled compared to the main event days, with the proportion of 350ml and 450ml blood units accounting for nearly 60%. The success of the Red Journey lies not only in its tangible, measurable values ​​but also in its intangible contributions, helping to spread the spirit of humanity, love, and social responsibility.

Sponsors received trophies and certificates of appreciation for their partnership with the program.

Speaking at the 2024 Red Journey Closing Ceremony held in Khanh Hoa , Ms. Le Nhat Thuy - President of the CP Vietnam Charitable Support Fund, said: “The Red Journey is a mission that we have been honored to accompany for more than a decade, an indispensable activity in our company's series of activities 'Paying Gratitude to the Vietnamese Fatherland'. We hope that the Red Journey will forever be a journey that CP Vietnam chooses to accompany and continue to pursue in the future.”

As an agro-food company, in addition to its production and business activities, CP Vietnam always upholds the philosophy of "Paying gratitude to the Vietnamese Fatherland." The company also actively participates in blood donation activities. Besides accompanying the "Red Journey" program in many locations and for many years, CP Vietnam employees have also participated in blood donation, donated company food gifts to participants, and taken part in side programs of the Red Journey such as awareness parades. Many generations of Red Journey volunteers, initially students, have grown fond of the company after visiting CP Vietnam's factories and branches, eventually becoming employees themselves to continue spreading the company's philanthropic values ​​to more people. Many CP Vietnam employees consider the Red Journey an indispensable event for blood donation, further spreading the spirit of "One drop of blood given, one life saved."
