| Officers and soldiers of the Mobile Police Unit promptly donated blood to save a citizen who suffered a work accident and was in critical condition. |
Previously, Mr. Nong Van Niem (born in 1972, residing in Hamlet 8, Cho Ra Commune) unfortunately suffered a work accident while dismantling a rented house. He slipped from the roof (approximately 4 meters high) and completely fractured his right femur. Due to the severe injury and significant blood loss, he was rushed to Bac Kan General Hospital for emergency treatment and scheduled for emergency surgery. However, the hospital's blood reserves were insufficient, and the victim's family was in particularly difficult circumstances.
Upon receiving the information, the leaders of the Mobile Police Unit quickly launched an initiative, mobilizing eligible officers and soldiers to register for voluntary blood donation. At Bac Kan General Hospital, three officers and soldiers directly donated 750ml of blood, promptly supplementing the blood supply to ensure the patient was eligible for surgery.
The noble, timely, and humane actions of the officers and soldiers of the Mobile Police Unit left a deep impression on the victim's family; and vividly demonstrated the spirit of "when the people need us, when the people are in difficulty, the police are there."
