Although the admission procedures can be done online, many parents and new students still want to go to the school to do the procedures. This is the first time that their children study far away, many parents are worried, want to take them to school and find a place for them to stay.

While waiting for her child to complete the admission procedures, Mrs. Ka In (middle) and other members sat down to rest and tour the school.
Upon hearing that her son was admitted to the Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade (Tan Phu District), Ms. Ka In (born in 1971) discussed with her family about renting a 16-seat tourist car, traveling from Bao Lam District, Lam Dong Province to Ho Chi Minh City.
On August 20, a special bus carried 10 family members of K'jriu (born 2006), a new English language student, to Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade to complete admission procedures.
At school, K'jriu and her sister lined up to do the paperwork, while the other members sat in the school yard to rest. K'jriu's father, Mr. K'Nam (born in 1968), said that the family had 4 children, K'Jriu was the youngest son. The family was poor, the first 3 children had to drop out of school, the one who studied the most only finished 11th grade.
“When my son got into university, my family was extremely happy and proud. We were happy but also worried, afraid that he would have difficulty adapting to the new environment while studying far away from home,” said Mr. K'Nam.

Mrs. Ka In smiled and said: "I have 3 grandchildren, I will definitely let them study well."
Mrs. Ka In confided that this was the most meaningful trip of her life. Although the journey was long, she did not feel tired. This was also an opportunity for the whole family, especially her three grandchildren, to visit Ho Chi Minh City.
As parents, everyone wants to accompany their children in important milestones. The case of Mrs. My Van is proof that nothing can stop the great love a mother has for her child.
Living in Kien Giang province, a few years ago, Mrs. Van had an accident and was confined to a wheelchair. Yet on the first day her daughter went to school to complete the enrollment procedures (August 20), Mrs. Van insisted on going with her.

Mrs. Van's family was present at Ton Duc Thang University to congratulate her daughter on becoming a new student.
Although she had to travel a distance of more than 250km, Mrs. Van smiled brightly when she saw her daughter officially become a new student majoring in Graphic Design at Ton Duc Thang University.
“Today is an important day for my child, me and the whole family. That is why I do not want to miss any moment. Traveling is a bit difficult and tiring, but seeing my child pass the university entrance exam into his dream major, I naturally feel better” – Mrs. Van said with a smile.

My Phuong smiled brightly when she realized her dream of passing the university entrance exam in her favorite major.
Holding her mother's hand tightly, freshman My Phuong felt very happy and warm because her family was always by her side. Phuong told herself that she would try hard to study well so that she could find a stable job in the future and help her father take care of her mother and younger sister.
