
Earlier, at 6 PM on April 7th, Tan Tien Border Guard Station received information from Mr. Tran Van Su (born in 1969, permanent residence in Luu Hoa Thanh hamlet, Tan Thuan commune, Ca Mau province) that while casting nets at sea, he discovered two crew members drifting towards Gia Cao estuary.
Upon receiving the report, Tan Tien Border Guard Station quickly dispatched 7 officers and soldiers to Gia Cao estuary to monitor, conduct initial health checks, and assist in bringing the two crew members ashore.
Initial verification revealed that the two stranded crew members were Mr. Le Van Tay (born in 1985, residing in U Minh Thuong commune, An Giang province) and Mr. Son Xong (born in 1983, residing in Tai Van commune, Can Tho city).
Currently, the health and spirits of the two crew members are stable, and the incident is being further investigated by the Tan Tien Border Guard Station in coordination with relevant authorities.
