Early admissions begin in April.

In 2024, the Vietnam Aviation Academy plans to enroll 3,530 students across 11 undergraduate programs. A new program expected to open this year is International Business.

The Academy continues to maintain the same admission methods as in 2023, including: early admission and admission based on high school graduation exam scores. Early admission includes five methods: priority admission for academically excellent students; priority admission based on international English certificates (IELTS); admission based on aptitude test results; admission based on high school academic performance; and direct admission.

The application period for different methods is as follows: priority admission, academic transcript review, and admission based on the first round of the Hanoi National University's aptitude test, from April 8th to 30th. For the method based on the Ho Chi Minh City National University's aptitude test scores, candidates register for the exam and submit their application through the Ho Chi Minh City National University's portal from April to June.

Regarding the method of evaluating scores in the high school graduation exam, candidates register according to the general regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.

During the early admission period, the Vietnam Aviation Academy announced that it will only accept applications online. Candidates must register for admission, pay the application fee, and monitor the admission results online.

Some special regulations regarding admissions

The Vietnam Aviation Academy announces some special regulations that candidates need to be aware of during the admission process.

Specifically, each time a candidate registers online, they can only choose one admission method. If they register for multiple methods at the same time, they must register in multiple separate batches. Candidates register for each level of education separately; they are not allowed to choose the same university and college admission majors, and vice versa.

The university considers applications in order of preference, from highest to lowest (preference 1 being the highest). Applicants will only be accepted into the highest-ranked option in their application list.

Candidates are allowed to register for admission in multiple rounds and through different methods, with multiple nguyện vọng (preferences) allowed for each method. However, within each method, candidates will only be admitted to the highest-ranked preference in their list of registered preferences.

In cases where candidates register for multiple different admission methods in the same round, the Vietnam Aviation Academy will consider applications in the order they were submitted. If a candidate has been admitted to any of their preferred choices through an earlier method, subsequent methods will not be considered.

The Vietnam Aviation Academy also stipulates that if a candidate registers for admission in multiple rounds, those rounds will be considered independently. In the case that a candidate is admitted to two different majors in two different rounds, they may only choose one major to register for on the Ministry of Education and Training's general admissions system and enroll in.

What are the tuition fees?

The Vietnam Aviation Academy announces that tuition fees will be implemented according to Government Decree 81 of 2021 (on the mechanism for collecting and managing tuition fees for educational institutions within the national education system and policies on tuition fee exemption and reduction, support for learning costs; and service prices in the field of education and training) and Prime Minister's Decree 97 of 2023 amending and supplementing some articles of Decree 81.

Accordingly, the tuition fee for all regular undergraduate programs in Vietnamese for the 2024-2025 academic year is projected to be 13.2 million VND/semester (15 credits), with a tuition fee increase of no more than 10% per year. For programs taught in English, tuition fees for English-language courses at the Vietnam Aviation Academy will be multiplied by a factor of 1.5 compared to programs taught in Vietnamese.
