Specifically, the Ministry of Science and Technology directed to strengthen plans to ensure communication, develop specific plans, and arrange officers, civil servants, and workers to be on duty to ensure communication during the holiday.
Deploy solutions to ensure network security; ensure uninterrupted communication to serve the communication needs of state agencies, organizations, businesses and telecommunications service users during the holidays.
Develop a plan to expand transmission capacity and domestic and international connection bandwidth to ensure no network congestion at times when there are large numbers of subscribers accessing the network.
Increase the number of BTS vehicles to crowded areas such as squares, parks, flower gardens, walking streets, fireworks display areas, celebration areas, especially at parade and marching areas of forces to be ready to supplement the arising traffic, ensure smooth communication, no network congestion, and maximally meet the communication needs of telecommunications service users.
The Ministry of Science and Technology requires network operators to prepare plans for incident handling, information response, and mutual response between businesses in the same area when necessary (roaming, sharing, shared infrastructure use, etc.) to ensure maximum response to emerging needs for telecommunications services of agencies, organizations, businesses and service users.
At the same time, the Ministry requests coordination with relevant units to promptly detect and prevent acts of taking advantage of telecommunications networks and the Internet to send and disseminate information with illegal content, and to disseminate viruses that destroy electronic information portals/pages.
