Notably, the Philippines has only 14 billionaires (down 7 compared to the previous year), while Malaysia has 16 billionaires (down 1 compared to the previous year).
According to Forbes' latest update of the world's billionaires list, Vietnam has 6 billionaires: Vingroup Chairman Pham Nhat Vuong, VietJet Air CEO Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao, Hoa Phat Chairman Tran Dinh Long, Techcombank Chairman Ho Hung Anh, Thaco Chairman Tran Ba Duong and Masan Chairman Nguyen Dang Quang.
The total number of billionaires in Southeast Asia is 117.

Looking deeper into this list, Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong ranked 30th in the list of Southeast Asian billionaires with 4 billion USD. Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao ranked 55th With 2,2 billion USD, Mr. Tran Dinh Long ranked 71st with 1,8 billion USD.
