Brandon Ly was born in 2005, 1m75 tall, plays as a defensive midfielder and right back. His father is Vietnamese of Chinese descent, his mother is Irish. Currently, Brandon Ly does not have Vietnamese nationality.

Brandon Ly started his career at Sheffield United's Academy. In November 2023, he was loaned to Burnley U18s and immediately impressed with his intelligent and tenacious play.

In January 2024, Brandon Ly left Sheffield United to join Burnley and was promoted to the U21 team. He had many times wished to return to his homeland to play football, and this dream has come true.

Currently, the 20-year-old player is training with his teammates to prepare for the new season. If he proves his talent and scores points with coach Polking , Brandon Ly may be given the opportunity by CAHN Club to obtain early citizenship, like Nguyen Filip or Jason Quang Vinh.
