The student won many Olympic medals

Participated in national and army Olympic competitions 6 times, won prizes 6 times. In 2024, Nguyen Huy Thanh was recognized as a Promising Young Face of the army.

At the 2022 National Mechanics Olympiad, Thanh won second prize in Technical Mechanics. In 2023, he won first prize in Informatics Applications in Machine Principles and continued to win second prize in Machine Principles in 2023 and 2024. At the 24th National Physics Olympiad for Students in 2022, Nguyen Huy Thanh excellently won two second prizes in the multiple choice and exercise sections.

Along with the Olympic activities, Thanh actively participated in scientific research. In this school year, he presided over the topic "Research, calculation and design of dynamic solutions for PM-20 continental shelf mines", which was evaluated as excellent by the Military Technical Academy. Also in the year, Nguyen Huy Thanh was the co-author of a scientific article published in an international journal in the ISI list - an important milestone in the research journey of the young officer cadet.

Sharing with us, the young man from Bac Ninh confided that his love for military science and his passion for weapons are the biggest motivations that help him diligently study, practice, research and participate in intellectual playgrounds. Among them, the journey that left the deepest impression on Thanh was the journey of reviewing and participating in the Russian Language Olympiad for students of all military officer schools for the third time in 2024. Russian is famous for its difficulty in grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation, but with his spirit and determination to overcome difficulties, Thanh has excellently overcome all language barriers, winning first prize in individual and first prize in team competitions. Notably, Nguyen Huy Thanh is the first student of the Military Technical Academy to possess the TRKI-I international Russian language certificate issued by the Russian Language Institute. Not only is he a good student and good researcher, he is also an active and creative Youth Union officer, recognized for 3 consecutive years as an "Outstanding Youth Union Officer", playing a core role in organizing movement activities at the unit.

He has been an excellent student for 4 consecutive years, with a total study score of 8.61. Thanh was awarded the title of Emulation Fighter of the Army in 2024 and was awarded many certificates of merit, certificates of merit and worthy rewards by the Ministry of National Defense , Ministry of Education and Training, General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, Central Committee of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and Military Technical Academy”.

Nguyen Huy Thanh's journey of study and training is a vivid proof of the image of an officer cadet with intelligence, determination and aspiration to rise up. From the lecture hall of the Military Technical Academy, he is gradually realizing the ideal of serving the Fatherland by conquering modern science and technology, making practical contributions to the cause of building a revolutionary, disciplined, elite, and gradually modern Vietnam People's Army.
