Although 4 months have passed, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hue (Da Mai ward) is still excited when mentioning the special art program "Bac Ninh - a thousand years of culture - Aspiration to rise in the new era" to celebrate the unification of the two provinces. This is a large art program directly connected at two points: 3/2 Square ( Bac Giang ward) and Kinh Bac Cultural Center Square (Vu Ninh ward). The magnificent outdoor stage combined with 3D technology brought the audience back to the heroic history of the ancient land of Bac Ninh - Bac Giang. In particular, the performance "Bac Bling" - a modern music product combined with folk materials performed by singers Hoa Minzy and Tuan Cry with the accompanying performance of more than 1,500 artists, extras, and students is an unprecedented record in art programs in the province. The audience was delighted with the first lighting effects performance in the province. Ms. Hue shared: “This is the first time I have seen such a grand show, with many famous artists performing right in my hometown. The atmosphere is so exciting and proud!”

Special art program to celebrate the 80th anniversary of August Revolution and National Day September 2nd, co-organized by Bac Giang Ward People's Committee.

On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day on September 2, the provincial authorities and functional agencies organized a series of cultural and artistic events to serve the people at many public places. At squares, lakes, and campuses in Bac Giang and Vu Ninh wards, people enjoyed many large-scale art programs for free; Cheo and Quan Ho performances on boats, water puppetry, and brilliant fireworks displays.

According to statistics from the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, from July to October this year, the whole province organized more than 300 free cultural and artistic activities. The programs were elaborately staged, gathering a large number of professional artists and the public, bringing a joyful atmosphere, meeting the increasing demand for spiritual and cultural enjoyment of the people. Many people, especially young people, shared that witnessing the grand art space and unique folk performances helped them love and be proud of their homeland's culture more. Mr. Hoang Lien Son, Head of the Department of Cultural Management (Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Bac Ninh province) said: "These activities contribute to improving the spiritual life of the people, while promoting and introducing the image of a dynamic Bac Ninh, rich in cultural traditions to friends at home and abroad".

Improve spiritual life

In recent years, with the motto of economic development associated with improving the material and spiritual life of the people, Bac Ninh province continues to perfect its excellent social security policies, while investing heavily in culture - education - health, making community cultural and artistic activities a daily beauty. The work of developing culture, sports, and improving the spiritual life of the people is highly valued. The province has implemented the thematic resolution on building and developing culture and people by 2030, meeting the requirements of sustainable development; leading and directing the organization of many cultural and sports activities at national, regional and international scale. The system of cultural and sports institutions from the province to the grassroots level has been invested in, built, upgraded, and effectively served the needs of the people. The work of preserving and promoting the value of cultural heritage has been focused on, contributing to preserving and promoting national identity. Not only organizing cultural and artistic programs to serve the people, Bac Ninh also focuses on creating conditions for people to directly participate in national-level political , economic and cultural events.

Since September, the Provincial People's Committee has directed the relevant agencies to organize hundreds of free shuttle buses for people in the province to visit and experience the National Achievement Exhibition "80 Years of Independence - Freedom - Happiness Journey" and the Autumn Fair at the National Exhibition Center (Dong Anh, Hanoi). In order for people in remote areas to participate, the relevant agencies have arranged for cars to pick up and drop off in 40 wards and communes and increase vehicles in areas with high demand. Ms. Nguyen Thi Bien (Ngoc Thien commune) shared: "I was eager to go see the show but was afraid of the long distance and lack of vehicles. With the province providing free cars, my children, grandchildren and neighbors joined me. I am very happy with the government's attention and proud to see the country developing more and more."

According to Mr. Do Tuan Khoa, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, with economic development, people's demand for cultural enjoyment is increasing. Organizing quality art programs and creating conditions for people to participate in national activities and events shows the province's concern to improve people's spiritual life; spreading cultural values in the community. The exciting thing is that these activities attract a large number of people to respond, contributing to the increasingly close relationship between the government and the people, improving the effectiveness of the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life".

One of the goals set out in the Resolution of the 1st Congress of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030 is to improve people's lives. Accordingly, the province will continue to implement solutions to build and develop Bac Ninh's culture, society, and people comprehensively, becoming an important driving force and development resource in the new period. Implement social security policies well, improve people's quality of life. In particular, continue to allocate investment resources to organize unique, high-quality cultural and artistic programs, meaningful activities for people to enjoy. Build inter-provincial cooperation relationships and identify key products, focusing on Quan Ho folk songs, Cheo art and traditional craft villages, unique cultural resources of ethnic minorities to develop culture. At the same time, develop various types of sports economy, combine tourism services, entertainment, resorts, golf courses, etc. to create a vibrant cultural space, contributing to the development of local socio-economy.
