Ca Mau approves Program to support businesses to improve productivity and quality in the period 2026-2030

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee has just approved the Plan to implement the Program to support enterprises in improving productivity and product quality in the period 2026-2030 with a total budget of 36 billion VND. The program focuses on training, consulting, certifying management systems, supporting digital transformation, applying new technologies, building smart production models, to increase competitiveness, promote exports and make practical contributions to the province's economic growth.

Local OCOP product manufacturing enterprises are participants in the program.

The program's participants are small and medium-sized enterprises producing key products, goods or local OCOP products; cooperatives, cooperative groups, production facilities and other organizations.
Objectives of the plan, period 2026 – 2030:
Organize at least 10 training courses on quality productivity, advanced management systems, and improvement tools. Organize at least 02 specialized seminars on quality management, smart manufacturing, digital transformation, innovation, startups, etc.
Promote at least 10 columns on local newspapers and radio stations about productivity and quality. Train and certify 5-10 productivity and quality experts for the province. Support at least 20 businesses with products and goods certified to comply with national/international standards, technical regulations, and basic standards (priority given to key products).
Support 25 or more businesses to build, apply and certify quality management systems or advanced improvement tools, focusing on key products and medical services.
Support at least 05 enterprises to participate and be awarded the National Quality Award; of which, at least 01 enterprise is awarded the National Quality Gold Award/Asia- Pacific International Quality Award.
Support capacity building for at least 01 organization in the field of certification of conformity of products and goods related to agriculture , food safety, environment... in accordance with standards and technical regulations to be recognized and acknowledged regionally and internationally.
Carry out the task of measuring the contribution of total factor productivity (TFP) to the growth rate of Ca Mau province in the period of 2026 - 2030, in order to determine the system of indicators related to fixed assets, labor and total product in the area, to have a basis for calculating the province's TFP index, from which to propose appropriate solutions for local economic development in the next period.
Support 20 or more enterprises to implement models of producing goods with high economic value; apply innovation, transfer and apply green productivity solutions and community development; apply support tools for smart production and smart services to enterprises.
Support digital transformation for at least 03 - 05 businesses to set up, optimize, and modernize business management and administration systems.
At the same time, support businesses to improve productivity and quality of products and goods through the application of solutions on standards, technical regulations, management systems and tools to improve productivity and quality; at the same time, create conditions for businesses to innovate, transfer and apply technology to improve labor productivity and total factor productivity (TFP) on the basis of science, technology and innovation, contributing to increasing the contribution of TFP to the province's economic growth.
