On the morning of September 19, the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee organized a meeting with the Ho Chi Minh City intellectuals participating in the journey to the source in 2025 with the theme "Proud of intellectuals in the City named after Uncle Ho".

The journey to the source for Ho Chi Minh City's intellectuals in 2025 took place from September 23 to 27 in Cao Bang, Tuyen Quang provinces and Hanoi, with the participation of more than 110 delegates representing socio -political organizations; intellectuals honored by the Ho Chi Minh City Union of Science and Technology Associations; outstanding intellectuals with many contributions to science and technology activities in general and the activities of the Union in particular; representatives of intellectuals in the fields of health, education - training, science and technology, outstanding young citizens...

The journey aims to practically celebrate major holidays and important historical events of the country and city; at the same time, express deep gratitude and remember the heroic martyrs who heroically sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the nation.

Through the journey, it helps to arouse national pride and the will to serve the Fatherland in each participating delegate, especially the young intellectuals, to understand more deeply the life and great revolutionary career of President Ho Chi Minh ; thereby fostering patriotism, social responsibility, promoting the pioneering and creative role of the intellectuals in the cause of building and developing a civilized, modern and affectionate Ho Chi Minh City.

The city's intellectuals were able to directly visit historical sites, "red addresses" - places bearing the mark of revolutionary activities of President Ho Chi Minh and previous generations of revolutionaries such as: Pac Bo National Special Relic Site, visit the tomb of heroic martyr Kim Dong (Cao Bang province); offer incense at Uncle Ho Temple, visit Tan Trao National Special Relic Site (Tuyen Quang); visit President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum ( Hanoi City)...
