Improve the voting method.

(CLO) On February 13th, the Sports and Culture Newspaper (Vietnam News Agency) announced the 19th Dedication Awards for 2025; the official nominations are for both award systems: the Dedication Music Awards and the Dedication Sports Awards. Along with this, the Organizing Committee opened the voting portal for the public, to join with the votes of journalists in finding the winners of this year's Dedication Awards.

Initiated and organized by the Sports and Culture Newspaper since 2005 with nationwide voting participation, the award expanded its scope to include sports in 2023, becoming a new ecosystem called Dedication, comprising two award systems: the Dedication Music Award and the Dedication Sports Award.

At the same time, the awards also improved the voting method. While previously the Dedication Music Awards only involved the press, since 2023, the awards have gathered additional opinions from the Selection Council and, especially, from the general public through widespread, open voting methods suitable for the "digital age".

This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Dedication Award's establishment and development, as it has expanded its reach across the continent through a collaboration with the Music Awards Japan. This award is organized and operated by the Culture & Entertainment Industries Promotion Association (CEIPA) of Japan. (CEIPA is an association formed by five major organizations in the Japanese music industry – including record companies, artist management companies, music publishers, and concert organizers).

This year's Japan Music Awards will take place on May 21-22, 2025, at the ROHM Theatre in Kyoto, featuring six main categories, including "Best Asian Song," which honors outstanding works from the region, along with 60 other subcategories.

The awards ceremony will be broadcast on NHK, Japan's national broadcaster, and will also be streamed live globally on YouTube. Voters will come not only from Japan but also from around the world .

By establishing a partnership with the Japan Music Awards, the Dedication Awards Organizing Committee will participate as a voting member of this award; and annually, in collaboration with CEIPA, will nominate a Vietnamese artist (selected from the main category and other categories agreed upon by both parties) for CEIPA to award the International Special Award at the Japan Music Awards.

In addition, each year, the Dedication Awards Ceremony will also open its doors to introduce and present a Special International Award to a Japanese artist (selected from the main category and other categories agreed upon by both parties).

This year, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Dedication Awards, in addition to the Dedication Impression Award and the Inspirational Artist Award, the Organizing Committee also held meaningful side activities such as awarding commemorative plaques to recognize and honor individuals and organizations that have organized music activities with widespread impact, inspiration, and a deep impression on the public and professionals.

With the expansion into the sports field, starting this year, in addition to the traditional "dan day" (Vietnamese zither) logo and "ho mi" trophy of the Dedication Music Awards, there will also be a separate logo and trophy for the Dedication Sports Awards.

The 19th Dedication Awards Ceremony - 2025 is scheduled to take place on the evening of March 5, 2025, at the Grand Theatre, Hanoi.

Voting for the Public Contribution Award will take place on BVOTE, following this procedure:

- Step 1: Access the website: giaithuongconghien2025.bvote.vn. In the Category List section, click on the names of the nominees you want to vote for.

- Step 2: Click "Vote via VNPAY" or vote via bank transfer, card, or other e-wallet. The system will return a payment link for you to vote for the nominee.

- Step 3: Access the payment link and proceed with payment (equivalent to voting).

- Step 4: Once the payment is verified as successful, the Bvote system will save the voting results. The voting fee is based on the chosen package, and each vote via VNPAY corresponds to the points awarded for the package selected by the audience. Please note that there is no limit on the number of votes or the number of contestants voted for.
