The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has just issued Decision 1171/QD-BVHTTDL on organizing the National Library Staff Festival to promote reading culture and introduce books - commemorating major holidays and important historical events of the country in 2025 with the theme "The Epic of the Nation".
The festival is organized by the Department of Grassroots Culture, Family and Libraries, in coordination with relevant agencies and units. This is one of the important activities of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to celebrate major holidays and important historical events of the country this year.

Through the activities of the Festival, the aim is to introduce and disseminate documents and books about important historical events of the country; at the same time, contributing to the propaganda and education of all strata of the people, especially the younger generation, about the tradition of patriotism and revolutionary struggle, arousing love for the homeland, national pride, and the aspiration to contribute to building a strong, prosperous, and developed country.
Each team's competition program will last 30-35 minutes (with at least 15 minutes dedicated to the book presentation), and will consist of four parts: team introduction; book presentation; presentation of a new and effective initiative/model for developing reading culture and lifelong learning in the locality, agency, or unit; and a talent showcase.
In addition, the Festival also includes activities such as: book and newspaper exhibitions; displays of images showcasing activities promoting reading culture and lifelong learning at libraries nationwide; and artistic book arrangements based on the Festival's theme.
The festival is scheduled to take place from May 26th to 30th at the Dak Lak Provincial Cultural and Tourism Center.
