From the support of charitable organizations, students of Tan Tien Primary and Secondary School (Tan Tien Commune, Hoang Su Phi District, Ha Giang Province) are given a boarding meal with rice, meat, beans, vegetables, soup... (depending on the meal) at the rate of 8,000 VND/meal.

Tan Tien is a poor commune of Hoang Su Phi district, located 10 km east of the district center, with a total natural area of ​​178.8 hectares. Despite difficulties, many schools, typically Tan Tien Primary and Secondary School, always strive to encourage parents to send their children to school, increasing the student rate in the new school year.

It is known that, implementing Decree No. 69 of the Government on "Policy to encourage socialization of activities in the fields ofeducation , health, culture, physical training, sports..."; Tan Tien commune has promoted the socialization of education, promoted the resources of the community, society, and enterprises to invest in the field of education. The State and many domestic and international charitable and non-governmental organizations have invested and supported facilities and nutritious meals for students.

Mr. Hoang Anh Tuan - Principal of Tan Tien Secondary School said that Tan Tien is a poor commune of Hoang Su Phi district, people's lives are still difficult, mainly farming, crops depend on the weather. In particular, 155/245 students are from poor households, with economic difficulties, so most of them depend on the support of the state and domestic and international charitable organizations.

Each student is supported by a domestic charity organization with 150,000 VND/month for food, 3kg of rice and 1 bundle of firewood.

A student with rickets and malnutrition needs guidance from teachers when eating.

Besides, students also participate in all sports activities such as soccer, shuttlecock, badminton...

In particular, finding a water source in a mountainous area is extremely difficult. The teachers worked hard to find a water source more than 2 kilometers from Tan Tien Secondary School, Hoang Su Phi District.

Although the boarding rooms at the school are still cramped, they basically meet the needs of students studying away from home.

With the support of organizations such as the White Pigeon group accompanying the rice with meat program, Plan international (an international non-profit organization in the field of children's rights with the aim of eliminating poverty and for comprehensive development), the project was built to bring water to the school, students no longer have to struggle to carry buckets of water every time they go to the toilet, or face the problem of environmental pollution", Mr. Nguyen Chien Hao - Principal of Tan Tien Primary School shared.
