The Ha Tinh coastal route is 120 km long, starting from Cua Hoi bridge (Nghi Xuan district) to the intersection with National Highway 12C at Vung Ang port (Ky Anh town). The route passes through 6 localities such as Nghi Xuan, Loc Ha, Thach Ha, Cam Xuyen, Ky Anh and Ky Anh town (Ha Tinh province).

The 33 km coastal road in Ha Tinh coincides with some invested sections of projects in 3 localities (Loc Ha, Thach Ha and Ky Anh town), and the remaining 87 km is newly built in 2 phases (the investor in phase 1 is the Ha Tinh Department of Transport, and in phase 2 is the Provincial Traffic Project Management Board) with a total investment of more than 2,000 billion VND, from the central budget and part of the Ha Tinh budget.

The section from Cam Linh commune (Cam Xuyen district) to Ky Bac commune (Ky Anh district) is about 6 km long, put into operation and used for 7 years, and has peeling and dents on the road surface.

According to local residents, this road has been degraded many times but the management unit only made temporary repairs. After a short period of use, the road continued to deteriorate.

The peeling and rutting marks form large holes, while the number of vehicles carrying materials is constantly running, which is very dangerous. If the driver is not familiar with it, driving at night will potentially pose a safety risk.

Currently, we are in the process of selecting a contractor."
