According to information from the Central Office of the Vietnam Buddhist Association, the grand ceremony will consist of two main activities: the procession of Buddha's relics and a parade of decorated floats.
The route starts from the headquarters of the Vietnam Buddhist Association (Quan Su, Hanoi), passing through Ly Thuong Kiet, Hang Bai, Dinh Tien Hoang, Le Thai To, Ba Trieu, Hai Ba Trung, and back to Quan Su.
Approximately 30-40 floats decorated with images of the Buddha's birth are expected to participate in the parade, along with the participation of about 500 Buddhist dignitaries, monks, nuns, and followers.
Preparations for the procession have now been completed. At Quan Su Pagoda, the main hall and the Three Treasures area have been solemnly decorated according to Buddhist rituals.
The processes of cleaning the Buddha statues, arranging religious artifacts, fresh flowers, hanging flags, and decorating the festival space were carried out meticulously.
The Quan Su street was also decorated with flags and flowers, creating a solemn atmosphere in anticipation of Buddha's birthday. From the afternoon onwards, the area around Quan Su pagoda was crowded with people, monks, nuns, and Buddhist followers.
