Recently, the Inspectorate of the Department of Health, in coordination with the District 3 Police, the District 3 Health Department, the People's Committee of Vo Thi Sau Ward, and the Vo Thi Sau Ward Police, District 3, conducted an inspection of the Dermatology Clinic, a branch of Shynh House Co., Ltd., located at 33 Tran Quoc Thao Street, Vo Thi Sau Ward, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City.
At the time of inspection, the team noted two medical records of two patients who had received NAD+ infusions at the clinic in the preceding days with the indication of improving skin and hair, and overall health.
This clinic did not provide the inspection team with the NAD+ product and any invoices or documents related to its use for patients. The clinic admitted that it had previously advertised the NAD+ energy infusion service on an LED screen in front of the facility and on its website.
During the meeting with the Health Department's Inspectorate, the clinic's representative confirmed that the facility had used solutions labeled "NAD+" which were in fact Vitaplex 500 ml, Pantogen 250 ml or 500 ml, and Polymia Kabi 250 ml or 500 ml. These are common intravenous fluids containing B vitamins, with market prices ranging from 60,000 to 125,000 VND.
The Inspectorate of the Department of Health continues to establish administrative violations and take strict action against the Dermatology Clinic, a branch of Shynh House Co., Ltd., for violations of regulations in medical practice, including providing medical services beyond its scope of expertise; practitioners not registering their practice; and failing to ensure the availability of essential medicines for timely emergency treatment of patients.
Trading in goods of unknown origin; advertising medical examination and treatment services lacking information about the scope of professional activities; advertising using the term "number one" or similar terms without legally valid documentation as required by regulations, etc.
For the violations described above, the facility may be fined up to 268,000,000 VND and have its medical examination and treatment license revoked for a period of 6 months.
Another facility inspected by the Health Department Inspectorate is the multi-specialty clinic of 3T Trading and Investment Joint Stock Company at address I-1.TM.01-2, Iris Block Commercial Area (I) Hado Centrosa Complex, 200 3/2 Street, Ward 12, District 10, Ho Chi Minh City.
During the inspection, the team noted that the clinic was advertising illegally related to NAD+ such as: "A health feast with NAD+ Drip infusions for anti-aging and rejuvenation in a luxurious way, top 5 most popular premium NAD+ Drip protocols: protocol for increased energy, better sleep, improved memory, anti-depressant, and anxiety reduction";
There were 3 patients receiving intravenous fluids with an unlabeled, yellowish solution; the products included: a 1000mg NDA+ vial, a glutathione vial, and other products lacking information to identify their origin and quality.
Due to the aforementioned violations, the Inspectorate of the Department of Health issued Decision No. 324/QD-XPHC against 3T Trading and Investment Joint Stock Company for illegal advertising and operating a facility without qualified personnel.
The Department of Health will continue to forward information on this case to relevant authorities to clarify the origin and source of these products and handle the matter strictly according to the law.
The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health urges the public to be highly vigilant against unsubstantiated and unverified claims made by state authorities to avoid health and financial risks.
When discovering illegal, false, or fraudulent advertisements in the healthcare sector, citizens can call the hotline at 0989.401.155 or upload information to the "Online Healthcare" application so that the Inspectorate of the Department of Health can promptly gather information, prevent and handle violations in accordance with the law to protect the rights and health of the people.

World Breastfeeding Week, established in 1991 by the World Alliance for Breastfeeding Action (WABA), takes place annually from August 1st to August 7th.
This is an annual event aimed at encouraging the collective support of the entire society so that all children have the opportunity to receive the irreplaceable nutrition of breast milk.

The Ministry of Health and the Alive & Thrive organization convey five messages about breastfeeding. These include: supporting and promoting breastfeeding is contributing to the reduction of inequality;
Breast milk is the best source of nutrition for the development of infants and young children; Mothers should practice skin-to-skin contact with their babies for as long as possible right after birth to give them the opportunity to breastfeed early; Husbands, families, and the community should support and assist mothers in breastfeeding; Let's work together to save the lives of premature and sick babies by donating breast milk to the Breast Milk Bank system.

According to information from the Center for Disease Control (CDC) of Dak Lak province, the locality has just recorded another case of Japanese encephalitis in a child.
This is the third case of Japanese encephalitis since the beginning of 2024. The patient is a female child, born in 2016, residing in Ea Ho commune, Krong Nang district, Dak Lak province.

The investigation revealed that the area surrounding the patient's home included ponds, stagnant water, and rice fields nearby. Neighboring households raised cattle and pigs, creating a favorable environment for mosquitoes that transmit Japanese encephalitis to breed and develop. The presence of Culex mosquitoes, the community vector for Japanese encephalitis B, was also observed at the child's home.
