The teacher who beat a student, leaving bruises on both legs, wrote a self-criticism report accepting a reprimand; however, the school's disciplinary committee decided on a warning as the disciplinary action.

On the afternoon of November 29th, Mr. Nguyen Huu Sau, Head of the Education and Training Department of Duy Xuyen district, Quang Nam province, stated that Le Quy Don Secondary School had decided to issue a warning to the homeroom teacher of the 6th grade class involved in the incident where a student was beaten, resulting in bruises on both legs.
According to Mr. Sau, after the incident occurred, Ms. Nguyen Thi E., the homeroom teacher of class 6 at Le Quy Don Secondary School, wrote a self-criticism report proposing a reprimand as a disciplinary measure. However, the school's disciplinary council, consisting of 5 people, analyzed various aspects and all 5 unanimously voted for a warning as the disciplinary measure.
Previously, on November 13th, Dai Doan Ket Newspaper reported on "Quang Nam: Clarifying the case of a teacher using a ruler to beat a student, leaving bruises on both legs," reflecting on the incident where a 6th-grade male student at Le Quy Don Secondary School in Duy Xuyen district was beaten by his homeroom teacher with a ruler, resulting in bruises on both legs. According to the report, during physical education class, two 6th-grade students had a conflict, and the student who was beaten accidentally broke a stick while playing, causing a mark on his back.
Following the incident, Ms. Nguyen Thi E., the homeroom teacher of the 6th grade class where the two students were studying, used a ruler to hit the soft tissue of the students' legs, causing bruising. After the incident, the school suspended the homeroom teacher from her duties to facilitate the investigation.
