Beware of 24 forms of fraud in cyberspace

(DN) - The Ministry of Information and Communications has just officially launched the campaign "Action Month to propagate and identify and prevent online fraud".

The implementation period is from June 23 to July 23 under the chairmanship of the Department of Information Security (Ministry of Information and Communications) to increase awareness and knowledge about online fraud, protecting people from potential risks in cyberspace.

The campaign is deployed on a large scale, through clips of common online scam situations, instructions on how to identify 24 forms of scams, etc. At the same time, it provides a handbook of knowledge on prevention to protect yourself and your family in cyberspace.

According to the Department of Information Security, there are currently 3 main online fraud groups (including: brand counterfeiting, account hijacking and other combined forms) with 24 forms of fraud taking place in Vietnam's cyberspace targeting target groups: the elderly, children, students/youth, workers/laborers, office workers...
