According to information from the Thanh Hoa Provincial Police, they recently received a letter from Mr. Nguyen Van Phi (residing in Hai An commune, Ninh Binh province) expressing his gratitude for the sense of responsibility and humane actions of the officers and soldiers of the Traffic Police Department of the Provincial Police while on duty on National Highway 1A.

Previously, on May 7th, Mr. Phi's daughter, Nguyen Ngoc Kim Anh, 21 months old, exhibited symptoms of abdominal pain and frequent vomiting. After examination at a multi-specialty clinic in Bim Son ward, Thanh Hoa province, she was diagnosed with acute appendicitis, with a large, swollen inflamed mass at risk of rupture, requiring transfer to Thanh Hoa Children's Hospital.

While driving his child to the hospital for emergency treatment, due to unfamiliarity with the area and the panic caused by his child's critical condition, Mr. Phi sought assistance from a task force of the Traffic Police Department, Thanh Hoa Provincial Police, who were on duty on National Highway 1A.

Immediately after receiving the information, traffic police officers used specialized vehicles to guide and assist in traffic flow management to ensure the vehicle carrying the child reached the hospital as quickly as possible. Upon arrival, the traffic police continued to assist the family in taking the child to the emergency room for timely treatment.

Thanks to timely intervention and surgery, Nguyen Ngoc Kim Anh's health has now stabilized.

Deeply moved by the actions of the traffic police officers of Thanh Hoa province, Mr. Phi wrote a letter of thanks to the task force.
