Criminal police chase robbery suspect

Approached by the detectives, Thuan accelerated his motorbike and sped away in an attempt to escape. The Criminal Police chased him for a long distance before they were able to control and arrest him.

On May 29, the Criminal Police Department (PC02), Ho Chi Minh City Police handed over Nguyen Cong Thuan (born in 1996, residing in Tan Phu district), Duong Le Tuyen Tai (born in 1995, residing in Binh Chanh district) to District 10 Police to investigate the act of "Robbery".

Previously, on the afternoon of May 26, detectives from Team 3, PC02 Department coordinated with District 10 Police to patrol the area and discovered Thuan riding a motorbike with suspicious signs. Through professional skills, the police determined that Thuan had committed a phone snatching incident on Nhat Tao Street, Ward 8, so they approached and controlled him.

Seeing the detectives approaching, Thuan quickly accelerated his vehicle to escape. When the Criminal Police quickly chased after him, Thuan accelerated recklessly through many streets, repeatedly forcing the detectives' vehicle to stop.

After chasing to Hoc Mon district, the reconnaissance car overtook Thuan's car and controlled the suspect. Another reconnaissance team also arrested Tai (Thuan's accomplice) while he was hiding in Binh Chanh district.

Through investigation, both admitted to committing a robbery on Nhat Tao Street with a female victim. In addition, both committed two other robberies in District 10. Through investigation, Thuan and Tai had many criminal records for "Robbery".
