Negotiations between Man Utd and their Saudi Arabian counterparts are entering an advanced stage. According to sources from Sport Jazirah , cited by the Manchester Evening News , the deal could be finalized within the next few days.
The price tag for Casemiro to leave Old Trafford is reportedly between £20 and £30 million. In addition, Manchester United would save a significant amount on wages if the former Real Madrid star moved to the Saudi Pro League. Currently, Casemiro earns £320,000 per week.

Casemiro, 33, joined Manchester United from Real Madrid in the summer of 2022 for a fee of around £70 million. In his first season at Old Trafford, he was a key player in helping the Red Devils win the Carabao Cup and finish in the top four of the Premier League. However, in his second season, his form declined somewhat due to injuries and fitness issues.
Under manager Ruben Amorim, Casemiro has somewhat regained his form, especially in the second half of the season, when he became a key player in midfield during the Europa League campaign with 10 appearances. However, with the highest salary in the team and his increasing age, the Manchester United management is considering selling him to generate funds for reinvestment in the squad.
Al-Nassr, the club where Cristiano Ronaldo plays, has shown particular interest in Casemiro since last summer and is now ready to return with a concrete offer.
Selling Casemiro would significantly reduce United's wage bill and free up funds to sign a new defensive midfielder. Joao Palhinha (Bayern Munich) is Amorim's top target after Manchester United failed to sign Ederson (Atalanta). However, given their current financial situation, the Red Devils may only be allowed to pursue a loan deal if they don't receive a transfer fee from the sale of Casemiro.
Besides Casemiro, several other players such as Jadon Sancho and Alejandro Garnacho are also being eyed by Saudi Arabian clubs, while Al-Hilal has been closely following captain Bruno Fernandes. Although Fernandes has refused to leave, the wave of negotiations from the Middle East is increasingly influencing Manchester United's personnel policy this summer.
