Introducing new technology

Participating in the Da Nang Venture and Angel Investment Forum 2026 (DAVAS), Mr. Nguyen Minh Tan, CEO and Founder of Mita Holdings Co., Ltd., stated that the company is presenting the MobiCARE electrocardiogram analysis solution, which applies AI in measuring, monitoring, and diagnosing cardiovascular problems, as well as medical tourism services.

According to Mr. Tan, this solution is being implemented in many hospitals in Hanoi and polyclinics in various localities. By 2026, the company expects to supply equipment to approximately 120-150 hospitals and clinics nationwide. Therefore, participating in the exhibition and promotion at DAVAS is an opportunity for the company to connect more deeply with investment funds, partners, and the domestic and international ecosystem, spreading and strongly connecting healthcare with tourism in Da Nang and the region. This will promote the exploitation and concentration of cross-customer segments between domestic and international businesses.

Mete Altinkaya, CEO and Founder of ICB Labs (a blockchain company from Dubai), stated that at the DAVAS exhibition, they presented ICB Verse, an augmented reality educational technology solution. In this metaverse space, users can converse with scientists. To date, the platform has created over 40 different scientists. In addition, the project features a virtual library where people can easily read and translate books, with over 17,000 books available worldwide. The project is currently being improved to provide users with voice recording capabilities in multiple languages. Currently, the platform supports English and Arabic, with plans to support over 22 languages within the next six months.

“The use of AI in education is now very common. This is a great opportunity for us to create an AI assistant with an educational platform that feels exactly like a real-life school, academy, or university. This sets us apart from other projects on the market and allows us to reach more people,” said Mete Altinkaya.

Seeking opportunities for collaboration

Besides promoting and showcasing products and projects from startups, exhibition spaces at technology events organized by the city also provide opportunities for businesses to meet, exchange ideas, and adapt to the preferences of investors. Through direct technology demonstrations, sharing business models, and connecting with the innovation ecosystem, many businesses and startups consider this an opportunity to collaborate, expand their markets, and gradually bring their products closer to both domestic and international markets.

Mr. Ngo Tan Tien, CEO and Founder of Bookshare Co., Ltd., said that after first participating in DAVAS in 2025, the "Skoolib Smart Library Management Platform" project has now connected with four investment funds after its funding round. The company has made significant progress, connecting with many startups and becoming more closely involved with Da Nang's innovation and startup ecosystem. According to Mr. Tien, for startups in their early stages, market presence and engagement with the ecosystem are crucial. Although DAVAS only lasts a few days, it has a significant impact and benefits the development of startups. If they take advantage of the opportunity, startups can move faster, go further, and open up many new development opportunities.

Mr. Nguyen Minh Tan shared that small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), especially startups, face significant challenges in accessing capital and attracting investment funds. This is because businesses need to standardize all their financial records and information technology platforms. All business management systems must meet international standards, requiring substantial investment. Not all SMEs have the resources to standardize these aspects from the outset. Therefore, events like DAVAS provide an opportunity for businesses to introduce themselves to investment funds, thereby securing support and assistance to help them gradually improve and develop.

“We are developing medical tourism and are eager to connect with and introduce our services to customers in overseas markets. We also hope to coordinate efforts to bring those in need to Vietnam for both tourism and medical treatment. Vietnam has optimal medical costs, increasingly improved professional capabilities of its doctors, and well-developed infrastructure, so we are fully capable of meeting this demand,” Mr. Tan said.

At DAVAS 2026, Da Nang city arranged a space for direct exhibition booths and technology demonstrations with more than 50 domestic and international startups and businesses. Mr. Vo Duc Anh, Deputy Director of the Da Nang Innovation and Startup Support Center, said that this is an opportunity for businesses to introduce their products and projects and directly interact with investors, experts, and partners. During the exchange and networking process, startups have the opportunity to review their products and business models, as well as adjust their development strategies to suit market needs. In addition, they can expand their customer network, find strategic partners, gradually improve their products, update new technological trends, and enhance their competitiveness in the context of an increasingly developing and internationally connected innovation and startup ecosystem.
