U23 Vietnam player on trial at La Liga team

The news of a Vietnamese player going to La Liga appeared last night (September 22) causing a stir among fans and many unverified speculations about the identity of this person. According to VTC News, it is Hoang Vinh Nguyen - a player trained at HAGL, currently playing for Ho Chi Minh City Club and was called up to the Vietnam U23 team in the 2023 training sessions under coach Philippe Troussier.

Hoang Vinh Nguyen will move to Cadiz Club - a team playing in La Liga. This is not a player transfer deal. The transfer period of Spanish and European football ends at the beginning of September. Therefore, Cadiz will not be able to sign a contract or register the 22-year-old player from Vietnam.

Cadiz FC has given Hoang Vinh Nguyen the opportunity to train with the B team for a month. This is the time for the Spanish team to evaluate the ability of the player born in 2002.

Compared to immediately competing and playing in the first team of La Liga, gradually adapting to the new environment and demonstrating ability in the B team will be more suitable for the capacity of Vietnamese players.

Vinh Nguyen is a product of the HAGL youth training center. Initially, he was selected for the 4th gifted class. The player from Ha Tinh performed well and was transferred to train at the HAGL-Arsenal JMG academy.
