Bich Tuyen officially absent from round 2 of the 2025 National Volleyball Championship

In the technical meeting on the afternoon of October 6, LPBank Ninh Binh Women's Volleyball Club finalized the list of 14 athletes participating in round 2 of the 2025 National Volleyball Championship, but without Bich Tuyen.

Before the 2025 National Volleyball Championship kicks off on October 7, the organizing committee, referees and 16 teams held a technical meeting, the main content of which was for the 16 teams to finalize the list of athletes participating in the tournament.

Most notable was the case of LPBank Ninh Binh, when the home team decided not to include captain Nguyen Thi Bich Tuyen. The 2000-born setter was not physically fit to play, so instead she appeared on the coaching bench as a caretaker for the club.

The absence of Bich Tuyen is certainly a big loss for the 2023 national champion, as she plays the role of main scorer and motivator for the team.

The person who replaced Bich Tuyen as captain of LPBank Ninh Binh is Nguyen Thi Trinh. This middle blocker is also trained to play the opposite position as a backup option. Previously, when LPBank Ninh Binh lacked a main blocker, Nguyen Thi Trinh also had to play this position and performed quite well.

Regarding foreign players, LPBank Ninh Binh continues to put their trust in Paskova - who competed in round 1 and left a big impression thanks to her fiery playing style and always knowing how to speak up at the right time.

After round 1, LPBank Ninh Binh Club is leading the women's rankings with 5 wins. Coach Thai Thanh Tung and his students have 2 matches left against the Information Corps and Ho Chi Minh City. The home team has secured a ticket to the semi-finals, the question is whether LPBank Ninh can find a solution to win the championship without Bich Tuyen?

Phase 2 of the 2025 National Volleyball Championship will take place from October 7 to 16 in Ninh Binh. The second phase still includes 8 men's teams: MB Border Guard, Tan Cang The Cong, Ho Chi Minh City Police, Da Nang, Tay Ninh, Hanoi , Sanest Khanh Hoa and LPBank Ninh Binh.

The 8 women's teams that will compete include: VTV Binh Dien Long An, Duc Giang Chemicals, Information Corps, Ho Chi Minh City, Hung Yen, Long Son Thanh Hoa Cement, VietinBank and LPBank Ninh Binh.
