Ho Chi Minh City Police Club replaces foreign players before round 2 of the National Volleyball Championship

Ho Chi Minh City Police Men's Volleyball Club has registered foreign player Luka Tadic (Serbia) to replace Martin Licek (Czech Republic) before round 2 of the 2025 National Volleyball Championship.

The Vietnam Volleyball Federation recently announced the official list of foreign players participating in the second phase of the 2025 National Volleyball Championship, Ca Mau Fertilizer Cup. Most notable is the case of Ho Chi Minh City Police, when registering 2 foreign players Michal Kubiak and Luka Tadic.

If Michal Kubiak is a world- class name that has affirmed his value in round 1, then Luka Tadic's case is more surprising.

Previously, another foreign player joined the HCM City Police, Martin Licek. However, after a short trial period, the team's coaching staff decided not to use this foreign player, instead choosing Luka Tadic.

Luka Tadic plays the main striker position, he was born in 2000 and has an impressive height of 2m06, a blocking range of 3m30 and a jump of up to 3m50. These are the top statistics in the Vietnam National Volleyball Championship so far.

Luka Tadic does not have much international experience, he has only played in Serbia and Poland before coming to Vietnam for the first time. However, his height and impressive jumping power are distinct advantages that can help this striker make his mark in the HCM City Police Club.

Also in the technical meeting before the tournament on October 6, the Ho Chi Minh City Women's Club finalized Cuban foreign player Aguirela Aidachi Attilah. The 1m79 tall main striker born in 1999 is the last foreign player registered to participate in the 2025 national championship.

Thus, the 2025 National Volleyball Championship will see all 16 men's and women's teams recruit foreign players, an unprecedented event. All of this promises to be exciting matches with high professional quality.

Phase 2 of the 2025 National Volleyball Championship will take place from October 7 to 16 in Ninh Binh. The second phase still includes 8 men's teams: MB Border Guard, Tan Cang The Cong, Ho Chi Minh City Police, Da Nang, Tay Ninh, Hanoi, Sanest Khanh Hoa and LPBank Ninh Binh.

The 8 women's teams that will compete include: VTV Binh Dien Long An, Duc Giang Chemicals, Information Corps, Ho Chi Minh City, Hung Yen, Long Son Thanh Hoa Cement, VietinBank and LPBank Ninh Binh.
